Overview: One of the popular plant species, Cryptocoryne wendtii 'Green,' hails from the Araceae family and is native to tropical Asia, particularly Sri Lanka. The broad and vibrant green leaves of the plant and the low demanding nature make it suitable for beginners to grow. Also, it is a hardy and robust plant that can withstand minor fluctuations in temperature. In the wild, you can find Cryptocoryne wendtii 'Green' growing in slow-moving rivers and ponds. Regarding the growth habit, it is a slow-growing aquatic plant that spreads horizontally more than vertically.

Appearance: Cryptocoryne wendtii 'Green' features long and lance-shaped leaves. The deep green color makes it more attractive. The leaves of the plant grow in a typical pattern, creating bushy clusters that look amazing. When the plant gets optimum water conditions, the leaves appear glossy and shining. Usually, it attains a height of 15 to 30 cm, making it suitable to grow as a mid-ground plant.
